If a winding has failed or degraded to such a degree where failure is likely,  we will carry out a rewind to that component. We have the capabilitys to rewind both very small and 1000kW+ wound components, our focus on quality and engineering excellence makes us your ideal rewind  provider.

Once connection and winding layouts are recorded the wound cores are heated in  our ovens in preparation for coil extraction. Following coil extraction, removal of  insulation materials and lamination inspection the cores are ready for re-insulation.

We insulated our cores  and windings with high quality insulation materials. and comprehensive insulation techniques meaning your equipment will stand the test of time. Materials can be readily upgraded to increase the insulation class rating of your wound components.

 

LARGE OVEN CAPACITY FOR COIL AND INSULATION EXTRACTION

ONLY HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS USED IN OUR REWINDS  

New coils are formed on our winding machines. We have a range of machines from versatile heavy duty manual feed machines to CNC winding machines which enable us to produce perfectly layer wound coils even when using very fine wire.

The newly wound coils are inserted within the lamination, our winding engineers are highly skilled with vast product knowledge, if an improvement can be made to the winding or insulation system we will make these changes. Our aim is to always optimise on a wound components efficiency, performance & reliability.

 

Following completion of the winding process, all windings are analyesd by our test equipment to ensure conformity to our pre-determined test standards

 

COMPONENTS TESTED WITH ADVANCED WINDING ANALYSIS EQUIPMENT

After test components are impregnated via a double dip and cure or if a superior resin and impregnation performance is  required we have the capabilities to carry out  Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) and rotary cure.
